Under 14 Hurling
The under 14 hurlers started the championship off with a win over Kilmacthomas in Ferrybank on Monday last with a scoreline of 5-7 to 0-3. The scoreline flatters our team and it wasn’t until the last quarter that we pulled away from the opposition. Scorers: Mark Russell 2-3, Eoin Falconer 2-1, Mark Howard 1-1, and Robert Carew 0-2 Alex Kinsella 0-1.
On Monday last June 16 we travelled to Ardmore and after an indifferent performance we came through with at 0-12 to 1-7 victory but not before it took 2 brilliant saves from Keith Power in the very last minute. Robbie Carew continued his scoring form hitting over 4 points from play.
