Pride of place this week goes to the our under 12s who won the Bord na nOg under 12 Hurling Division 2 team in Walsh Park on Sunday last sponsored by I.T. Services. It wasn’t looking good for Ferrybank at half-time when despite the team hitting 10 wides and was still only level at half time at three points apiece. Clonea took the lead early in the second half, but with captain Shane Dineen driving the team forward we hit 5 points without reply leaving the final score 0-8 to 0-4.There was some outstanding performances throughout the field and none more so then Shane Morrissey at full back, Shane Dineen and John Ahearne in the half back line, M.J Sutton at centre field with Jeff Lawless and free scoring forward Robert Carew assisted by David Atkins and Johnno Brown.
